Reception staff were welcoming, water bottle refill in reception area and bags were left safely when we arrived early. Rooms were clean and tea/coffee replenished daily, extra giving when asked. Lovely hotel close to kings cross station and easy transport links to areas you need.

Staff was great, hotel was clean, however the stay was during the heatwave where it got up to 95°f multiple days and the hotel doesn’t have A/C (which we didn’t expect as most in London don’t) and they only provide one small fan per room that it can only be plugged into one area near the mirror. The other issue was there was construction outside our window every morning starting at 8am . Just a heads up would have been nice or with the option to switch to a room on the other side of the hotel would have been ideal.
Would still go back just maybe at a cooler time of year and would double check the construction ahead of time

As a woman alone I was put in an area with no warning that there was construction going on. One morning I awoke to a man standing outside my broken window looking in!!
No air con is also BRUTAL during a heat wave.

Nice lobby with AC and free water fountain. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable but no AC was a problem during the June heatwave! We did have fans in the room but it was very hot.

good service from smiling staff seems a thing of the past, but not at The President hotel, excellent staff, excellent service, clean, comfortable, good food all this means we will definitely stay at this Hotel next time we are in London.
We have already recommended it to some friends.

This is our third time staying at the President. Staff, food and location excellent as always. However I did feel the tables in the restaurant etc were looking a little tired but definitely value for money
