Jake's 58 Casino Hotel - Adult Only

Slow elevator, the first elevator always not working. I noticed it hasn’t been working since my last stay in April 2026.

We were unable to check in at all. The customer service staff was extremely rude and unhelpful.

The room was clean, but a little outdated, with that being said, they are renovating. Staff was helpful. Bar staff was great,

That was the worst experience ever. The security did not let us in. According to them, the NYC Id card, that on one our party member had, was not valid to enter the hotel. So entry was refused, but they still charged us the penalty, for not using our reservation. This is outrages! We are very, very disappointed, I would never recommend anybody to have business with this hotel!

I would strongly recommend reconsidering if you're looking into staying at Jake's 58 at this time. The casino and hotel share an entrance, so you have to line up and go through security each time you want to exit and re-enter the building. There are only two elevators and no internal staircases, creating MAJOR pinchpoints within the facilities. And both were broken the entire time we visited. Hotel guests have to intermingle with casino goers the whole time, as there are no separate amenities, which definitely gives your trip unwanted flavor. The restaurant and snack bar are both poorly staffed, leading to long waits, even just to buy water. And the vending machines on the hotel floors only accept cash and coin. In the rooms, the space layout is poor, leading to really squished experiences around the closet and bathroom. And the in-room heating/cooling unit was SOOOOOO LOUD, it felt like we were sleeping inside the thing! The three good things: 1) strong A/C in the summer heat; 2) quality mattress; 3) variable pillows on the beds which give you lots of options based on your preference or sleeping pattern. Overall, a very inconvenient experience. What's worse is that I told my sister about it because it was a low cost option, and I was deeply embarrassed when she realized just how poor the experience would be for us.

La atención al cliente en la recepción fue pésima, hasta ahora no recibo el reembolso total en mi tarjeta, por la garantía que ellos piden al hospedarte, nunca respondieron con alguna solución, solo dijeron que no sabían de que era el débito, después que ellos lo habían hecho, muy mala experiencia, no regresaría.
