Hotel Route - Inn Akita Tsuchizaki

駅から遠いため、秋田駅へ出るにはバスのほうが便利と思います。 ただ、逆に秋田駅からホテルへ戻るのは遅い時間ですと、最寄駅から15〜20分歩く必要（私はタクシー乗りました）あり

スタッフさんの受け答えが丁寧で、とても感じが良かったです。 アメニティに入浴剤があるとより嬉しかったのだけど、満足出来ました。ありがとうございました！また利用したいと思います

飲み水のサービスは欲しいですね

Much better all around compared to other Route Inn properties.

English speaking friendly receptionist. In room bathroom floor is higher than room floor and has a metal trim that causes you to trip and kick your toes if you fail to take note whenever you enter or leave the bathroom. The corridor reeks of cigarette but air purifier inside room keeps it odour-free. Mattress is too soft. Because it has a restaurant on site, breakfast is very good with freshly made tofu too. The 24/7 free freshly ground coffee by Doutor provided in reception area is really a nice touch for coffee drinkers.

Quiet area, right next to the coast and the Akita tower (which is free to visit at anytime, even at night when the shops close). Supermarket right next door. This area is more suburban, but still a handful of small restaurants nearby. 10 to 15 minute walk from Tsuchizaki train station. Not walkable from downtown Akita. You need to take the train or bus to get to Akita, but the train is very convenient. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of options even if you are vegetarian. Less options if you are vegan, but you can still eat some of the options they have on hand. They serve different foods everyday, so there is variety. The hot baths are excellent. They segregate the baths by sex (two completely separate rooms). The female baths are kept locked and the key is kept at the front desk. I appreciated this, as I felt safe using the hot baths since I can use the key to lock the door behind me after I enter.

Our stay at the Route Inn Akita, Tsuchizaki was excellent, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, everything was exceptionally clean and the included breakfast perfect. We look forward to staying again soon.

I had a smoking room which was unfortunate and the room rate was quite high, considering the size of the room but the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Short cab ride away from station. Food excellent.

No keyless entry, only one small pillow given
