Friendly and helpful staff. The spacious bedroom was clean and quiet. Pool and gym facilities are a bonus as is the free parking. The restaurant food and breakfast buffet were good, nice to have coffee served rather than a self service machine version. Would stay here again when next in the area.

The hotel itself was lovely. Staff where great. But we stayed in the outbuilding by the courtyard and our room and bathroom were dirty and basic.

Excellent customer service provided throughout our stay. Rooms were large and very comfortable. Good choice of food at both our evening meal & breakfast Lovely views over the countryside

The food and menus needs improvement. There is a lack of consistency, depending on who is in the kitchen I presume, particularly for breakfast. The buffet menus for events are poor value for money and some of the food seems to have been bought in frozen rather than prepared fresh. The prices don’t reflect this. We spoke to the fairly new manager who recognises the issues and assured us that they will be addressed.

Lovely staff and very nice breakfast in a beautiful room overlooking the countryside. Room very spacious with a kitchenette, perfect if you’re there for more than the one night we were there Staff on reception were excellent, very helpful and nothing too much trouble. Bit out of the way and we struggled with Taxis but perfect if you’re driving there. Would definitely recommend
