We have stayed in Novotel before which is more or less same hotel, same lifts, same building, same pool. We booked this thinking it was the same just smaller rooms, hotel is clean and modern but also basic, beds are not very comfy and pillows are hard making it impossible to sleep, breakfast in Novotel was good and we booked this thinking that would be the same too, breakfast in ibis is basic, a handful of cooked food which wasn’t very good, some grits and breads. Of the 3 days we stayed and booked breakfast once was enough, we went out for the other 2 breakfasts. Great location but there are better alternatives for cheaper nearby

My go to spot in Bangkok. Near all the nightlife and convenient location to get around with nearby metro and plenty of restaurants and bar options.
