What a delightful day (and night) at the hotel. A charming and very friendly staff greeted us, cleaned our luggage (because we’d been rolling around) and brought everything to our room while we were checking in. A lovely onsen and very large room kept us smiling during our entire stay. I’ll be back!

Fantastic 2 night stay, staff all very helpful and friendly, great facilities, very clean and the best Japanese breakfast….. an experience in itself so make sure you leave time for it in your itinerary. Wholeheartedly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely and charming Ryokan. They had very nice artwork and decor throughout the Ryokan, everything was very clean and it's in a great location, walkable to all the sites and the train station. The staff was so kind and helpful! I loved this Ryokan and Takayama so much that I give it my highest recommendation to anyone visiting Takayama. Thank you for an amazing stay! I hope to be able to return one day soon!
