Hotel Chrome Montreal

My recommendation is to stay here if it fits your budget or you absolutely must, for minimal nights. Myself and 1 family member stayed here for 3 nights and it happened to be during the Jazz Festival downtown so there were not many options remaining. It's an older hotel. We expected breakfast to be included, as it was promoted, however the dining area was closed and under construction. One day, a neighbouring guest was smoking in their room and we returned to a smokey smell in our room which the staff took seriously and addressed by confronting the person. On the morning of our departure, I woke up to water dripping onto my bed from the ceiling. As we left, the plaster started falling off. Again, the staff attended to the situation right away by bringing towels. Also, the lobby didn't look quite like the photos. I will say, this hotel was in a very convenient area in walking distance from many stores, restaurants and the Eaton mall. It was also around the corner from the Jazz Festival.

Location to old town Montreal was good. Hotel definitely needs a face-lift.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were on Second floor facing the street which is under construction. No fault of the hotel but work began before 6am. Late check in so parking off site was an adventure.

It's the first time i stayed in that room. the place in a while. Room 203 is the nicest i've experienced on the second floor, even though the view isn't exceptional. No carpet, but woods. Bigger fridge with convection microwave and what looked like a mini-kitchen without the oven.

King size bed near place des arts for 2 nights at a very reasonable price during summer season.

Staff is kind and helpful. The place is near many interesting places in Downtown Montréal and makes it a great place to stay where most can be accessed by walk.

Clean room, easy acesa

That’s the worst place I have ever stayed in my life. The bedroom was dirty, the beds are super small, the pillows are children’s size. We were four people and there were only two towels. It took two days to get towels for everyone. The service is the worst, nobody knows any information we heard three different stories. The room and bathroom are disgusting, walls are ripping off, the power outlet was not working and my mom has to use an equipment to break and she couldn’t use it. Honestly it was the WORST experience I’ve ever had as well! Careful with the pictures because they lie! The only good thing in there was Jimmy the maintenance supervisor who helped us fixing some stuff and even brought us pillows and towels.
