The hotel is in a great location for the Haga area & there is a tram stop nearby if you want to get a ferry out to the Archipelago. We stayed in a superior double room & had plenty of space for the two of us. Excellent sized bed & shower with good water pressure. A bit of extra furniture would have been helpful, a Kallax(!) in the main room & a shelf or cabinet would have been perfect to properly unpack, rather than lots of empty space. The room didn't have air con, but we were okay when we travelled in May. There was nose from the street outside as it borders on a party area, but with the windows shut & curtains drawn it really blocked the sound out. Breakfast had a good choice & the staff were super helpful if you needed them. Would recommend & would stay again.

Hotel Poseidon is a beautiful historic building just steps away from the beautiful Baptist church typical of the splendid architecture of central Gothenburg. Our room was comfortable, the breakfast was outstanding, and the coffee in the lobby was especially nice.

Fantastic full tasty breakfast, lots of gluten free options. Best Swedish coffee. Wonderful staff. Comfy bed. Clean smell. Perfect location for old town Haga district. Hanas, hotel owner, and staff so very helpful. See you again in a year or two Hanas!

I love this hotel, I always stay when I’m in Goteborg. Clean rooms, nice staff great Location.

I stayed here because I came for a festival. Central station is walkable from hotel, train to festival was only a few minutes, I wasnt aware hotel provided breakfast which was just absolutely delicious. My room was much better then I was expecting it to be, I felt like I was on a retreat. 10/10!!!

Lovely hotel although a bit warm last week as no air conditioning. Lovey breakfast. Reasonably central in a quiet area

Twin room, very comfortable. No air con so room was hot although fan available. Central location but quiet. Great breakfast
