Staff was kind. Plenty of self-service facility including vending machine, microwave oven, etc. Room is quiet even the hotel building is beside railroad tracks. Only problems are very limited parking space and early-closing restaurant.

The public bath was very good, but it was a pity that it could only be used at night. It would be nice to be able to use it in the morning.

The hotel has a great onsen.
It is a little far from Fukui, the bed space a little small for 2, and we found a little overpriced in view of the location and the general condition if the place.
The onsen was really nice

Hyvä This is basically a nice Japanese business hotel. However, it has a onsen bath on the 9th floor. Very convenient to the bus and of course the station next door. Glad I did not stay at Kaga Onsen, but there may be some nice minshuku or cheap stays in Hashitate, which is a cool toen.

Hienoa Stayed here for two nights in a small single room. Room was very small but contained everything needed and was very clean. Staff were very friendly. Location is great for the local railway station as it is right next to it. Not a great deal to do in the immediate surrounding area though.
