Fantastinen Friendly and helpful staff. Parking isn’t obvious from the front but plenty of room once you’ve found it! Room was huge and very comfortable. Aircon was a real bonus. The breakfast was particularly good - freshly cooked so piping hot! Thoroughly recommend The Crown. Great location too.

Hienoa A nice stay, with a very good breakfast.
A few maintenance issues in the bedroom which needed addressing with a paint brush, and some cleaning issues, which were loose cotton threads from the sheets scattered everywhere.
Simple stuff to do to get 5 stars, and to ensure standards are as they should be.

I had such a pleasant welcome when I arrived after travelling for several hours, and only to find out I'd be granted a free upgrade to my room.
The room itself was lovely - full of character and wonkiness(!); my only critique might be that it could really build a bit more warmth with some artwork on the walls.
The bathroom was great with everything needed and the bed was huge and super comfortable.
Breakfast was delicious and very generous in portion size - I had the scrambled eggs with salmon and a gluten free option on the toast.
Thanks for a great stay - will be sure to book again when I am this way again for work.

Excellent old coaching inn. Main building rooms have tons of character. If you prefer hermitically sealed rooms then those not in the main building are more modern. Lovely location, nice local restaurants. Nice breakfast, friendly staff. Wine by the glass selection a bit hit and miss, as they ran out of two whilst we were there. Parking at back of hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at The Crown. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were well-appointed, and the breakfast was delicious, with a variety of choices that pleased everyone in our group. Easy parking in the lot behind the inn. The location is perfect for exploring Amersham and the surrounding area. We'd happily stay again!
