SpringHill Suites Marriott Colorado Springs South

We were supposed to go southeast of Colorado after our two-night stay here in SpringHill Suites in Colo Spring. Unfortunately, due to unfortunate events happening there we cancelled our plans. So we asked someone from the front desk if we could extend our stay and he was very accommodating and even help us book for another two nights. We did not try to look for another hotel because we are enjoying our stay in SpringHill Suites. The location was great: it was quite and does not have too much traffic. The place was clean inside and out. I like that we have a small kitchen in our room. Bed sheet are fresh and clean. Plenty of bathroom supplies. Nice breakfast. I will definitely book here when we go back to Colorado Spring again.

Every staff member we came into contact with was friendly and help during our stay.

Things were left in drawer from previous stay. The curtains and bed blocked the AC so the whole room did not get cold. I didnt have hand towels are rags in my bathroom, I had to go to front desk to gran some.

Breakfast was weak at best. Toilet was clogged and the curtains broke while we were there. The Automatic Door is extremely loud when opening so do not stay in room 207 or 205. They charge you for parking and then credit you the money back. I don’t understand why you’re even trying to charge for parking when it is not gated or secured and is open to another property. The room needs an additional TV and a mirror. Probably one of the worst I have stayed at.

Elevators need a refresh. And the scrambled eggs need an overhaul.

Great hotel, great staff, great location.

The breakfasts were very good but I think they should have went until 10:00 am because some people don't get up until 9:00 am. The receptionist was very friendly & polite. The location was cost to the airport which was great for me.
