Little Haven Hotel On The Beach

Great location and free parking. Room was a good size and clean with a great view, although decor & furniture a little dated. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful, but not enough on duty, especially late evening at the bar. Breakfast was good and plenty to choose from. Would stay again if in the area

It's a very nice hotel with plenty of charm and a really nice location. Cruise ships and other large ships come right past and it's not far of a walk to the main beach area and Pleasure Beach and was nice and quiet for our stay. Hard to fault the hotel in general. Breakfast was very nice as well. Staff were friendly. The rooms were roomy and looked nice but unfortunately the pieces didn't add up to what I had hoped for. It was a hot weekend and fortunately quiet so we could have the window open as no AC or fan included. The bed was very springy. I honestly can't remember the last time I felt springs in a bed and each side of the bed had a different level of padding. There was no hair dryer. The remote control only half-worked, I had to use the volume buttons on the back of the TV. So just think with a bit of an update it could be a really great stay.

Staff were helpful and polite. The room was clean, with an excellent view. But the bed was not very comfortable, and the heating was not brilliant. The fixtures and fittings were worn and dated. Breakfast was ok, but could do with a decent coffee machine as you would find in similar setups. So in short, a potentially lovely place that just needs investment to upgrade it.

Outstanding,hotel and staff.love this place.breakfast needs attention.every thing lovely,clean and in abundance but the cooked breakfast needs attention,terrible sausages and the beans looked like they had been reheated over and over again and not just me and my families but quite a few tables had the same left overs. But will I go again,absolutely.house keeping manager ,thankyou for going above and beyond for us.problem with the booking and there computers side but resolved in a heartbeat.thankyou.

A pleasant stay in a room overlooking the beach. Staff very helpful and friendly. Menu nothing startling but excellent fish and chips. An ideal place to stay if visiting South Shields

Absolutely amazing time we had for Valentine’s Day

Expected better, bathroom was clean staff was really nice but the room was so dusty which as someone with dust allergies I don't appreciate.

Near the beach. Entertainment in the evenings.
