Our stay at Athens Hawk was simply wonderful. As seniors who had never stayed in a hostel before, we were a bit skeptical, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was available for 5.00 euros per person. The roof top bar was awesome with fantastic views of the city and Acropolis. Everywhere was within walking distance or transit. We had an amazing time

We did not utilize the amenities. There is just so much food and drink out in the city that it was never the plan. But the breakfast/communal space appeared to be welcoming. The most important thing is the location. While technically not far from the city center, it is located within a 15 minute walk but on a questionable street. For those who seek a more secure and friendly surrounding, look for a tourist friendly spot closer to the main square. Photos on the website are accurate but lack in reality. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was standard and kept clean. Air conditioning was not cold and I do not think it ever got cold.
Overall, it is a nice and affordable place to stay. It is a hostel and feels more hotel than hostel. Much nicer than others I have been in throughout Europe.

The location of this property is terrible. The street that it is on is dirty and feels extremely unsafe. The room itself was nice, spacious and clean. Although we were on the top floor and the party music went until 2am each night.

The room had visible black mold in several places, including the washroom and throughout the wardrobe area, which was very concerning.
The location is reasonably convenient and not too far from the main attractions, but the immediate neighborhood is not particularly pleasant.
The common areas were noticeably dirty and far less inviting and usable than expected.
On the positive side, the rooftop bar was nice, and the views were excellent.

Everything honestly was good, however cockroaches were in the room at night. Which then made us not want to eat there.

I found the staff helpful and welcoming. The rooftop bar is spectacular and had a great view of the Acropolis, especially when it lights up at night. It's not in the greatest area but is within reasonable walking distance to places you'd want to go.

Honestly very happy with the accommodation. We booked a private room for a reasonable rate and it was pretty spacious and clean, comparable to a hotel room. The hostel was also very close to the tourist attractions.
