While the room and stay was comfortable the experience with the check-in staff in the morning we arrived was quite poor. We arrived at 10 am and it was understandably too early to be given a room. We had a situation of a damp passport which we needed to dry using a drier. All we wanted was a drier and a power socket to help us dry our passport. It was a crisis because we were meant to travel out the next day. The staff took very long to accede to a request of a drier. Understandably the room wasn’t ready at that time but to not be able to provide a drier until we pushed for it was simply not understandable. Further after she got us a drier, suggesting we take the drier to a cafe outside the hotel to find a power socket was ridiculous. Eventually after we pushed a lot she pointed us to a power socket nearby next to the lobby toilet. We stood there outside the toilet for the next 15 minutes drying out our passport. We were left with a very poor taste of the quality of service especially when the customer is distressed.

Wonderful hotel with a lot of amenities! Self check in was easy and there was staff nearby to help as well. The room was so clean, surprisingly spacious, and very new! Our favorite part was the Onsen on the 26th floor. It was so relaxing after a long day of walking and views were spectacular. Remember to bring towels with you as they don’t provide towels there. Food at the lounge connected to the Onsen is not bad and a nice easy quick option for a bite if you don’t want to head back out or eat convenience store food. The hotel is located a bit of a walk from Sapporo station. It’s an easy 10 minute walk but beware if you have a lot of luggage as the street is bumpy and there are multiple crossings to go through from the station to hotel. We didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast buffet but there was a line out the door every morning so get there early if you plan to eat there.

Very new hotel and facilities. Short walk from Sapporo train station in summer, though winter times may be a little far. If you need to eat breakfast at hotel you need to book in advance.

Sapporo Station is undergoing some construction at the moment, so the distance to getting to the hotel may seem further away with re-route. Travelled with Family (young children). We enjoyed the bunk bed setup of the room. But,We were disappointed that the bathroom were not ventilated properly; it smelled of musty dampness (mildew). Very convenient with having family mart at the hotel. and the lounge was beautiful at night with a full view of the city.

Great hotel!

Great overall. The carpet in the hotel room was a bit dirty looking. Lots of stains and dusty in the bathroom. But onsen was great and clean. Staff was great and helpful.

We had an amazing stay at the Sheraton Grand Hiroshima and would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Hiroshima. Everything was flawless from check-in to check-out. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. It had every amenity we could possibly need, including purified drinking water in the room. We also appreciated that they even provided a luggage scale, which was incredibly helpful before the next flight if anyone needs it. The location is excellent—just a 3-minute walk from Hiroshima Station, making it easy to get around the city and beyond. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and were able to arrange luggage forwarding to our next hotel, which made our trip so much more convenient. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located hotel with outstanding service, I highly recommend the Sheraton Grand Hiroshima. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!
