The owner Ocean was very hospitable and accomodating when it was pouring rain outside and had nowhere to stay overnight before my flight. He went above and beyond for me, even giving me directions on how to get to the airport when I was confused and anxious. The receptionist Rachel was very friendly and welcoming and always answered my questions whenever I had them. I was able to meet and chat with a few cool folks in the shared guest area as well! I really enjoyed my stay here, and if I am ever in Seoul again I’d definitely come back!

The hostel is ideal for 20 year olds who want to party, we were not that. The noise between the rooms is so loud, you can hear people in neighbouring rooms word for word. On the night that most of the hostel went out there was loud noise until 6am.

It was perfect for the price and was very easy to meet new people there. Perfect for solo travelers and a very good location. The owner is also very welcoming and happy to help.

Ocean’s guesthouse was amazing. It’s a short 18mins walk to Hongdae street with lots of stuff to do nearby. The hosts are very kind, and always happy/available to help. The hostels vibe is friendly and social, so I ended up meeting so many cool humans from around the world. Will be back here the next time I’m in Seoul!
