Perfectly situated in the heart of Bergen, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The room was very clean and comfortable, although quite small and with limited storage space. The standout feature was the breakfast, which was incredible, with a great variety and high-quality options. Overall, a lovely stay in a stylish hotel with an excellent location, but the compact rooms kept it from being a full five-star experience.

Very friendly staff and great location

The location is great and the rooms are spacious and spotless. However the sushi restaurant that allegedly has a Michelin star was disappointing. The service was terrible and the sushi rice was dry. And the selection was small.

Lovely stay with great sized rooms, excellent breakfast and spa worth using.

The hotel was nice and modern. The breakfast was excellent. Location was good too. Staff was friendly. Downside: outdated room was tiny, about the same size as a cruise ship economy cabin. Two of us could not be in the bathroom at one time. Our room, was only serviced 4 days out of the 6 nights we were there and no coffee was provided for 3 days. We had to go to the front desk to retrieve coffee. It was an nespresso pod machine and after 4 days no one emptied the used pods.

Great breakfast, well appointed hotel and nice aesthetic

Staff fantastic. Helpful in every way. Very central right in the middle of everything so close to harbour, fish market and historic buildings along water, exactly where you want to be.

Very well placed hotel, quiet and clean neighbourhood with plenty of amenities nearby. Room a little on the smaller side, but big enough for basic use, thankfully we didn't need to stay indoors all day, else it would have been rather cramped. Also, the fridge didn't exactly get cold, but was just barely cool enough for storing temperature sensitive medicines. Breakfast was good, although dairy intolerance could have been catered for better - no dairy free spreads or cheeses available when making breakfast sandwiches/rolls, and no vegan/dairy free yogurts or cakes/sweet options. Staff were exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to help where required.

The hotel was excellent. It is a great location, the check in staff were great and on the whole the restaurant staff were helpful. The gym was small but well maintained and the equipment was good. The breakfast was amazing - lots of choice and very well stocked. The Japanese restaurant for dinner was delicious. Getting drinks in the bar was a little slow as the weather was nice so the terrace was busy. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend this to other travellers.
