Very clean overall, good food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Close to Karon beach, shops and restaurants. Very nice staff overall too.

10 minutes walk and you reach Karon Circle. Outside of the property, you have massage parlors, laundry shops and some business that sells everything from souvenirs to fruits. The gym is pretty legit as well with weights and barbells that should be enough for most people. The staff will be what I will remember this property by. I was limping back to the hotel as I had a small incident. The security personal saw me and he does not speak too much English, came over and used his phone to ask if I wanted a walking stick as the hotel provides it for free via a translator app. I did not take up the offer but I think that one simple question of his, made my otherwise not so nice vacation, a memorable one.

We enjoyed our stay at the Proud Karon. Rooms were spacious and clean. In close proximity to the beach and other restaurants, shops etc. We enjoyed the free shuttle that was offered to Kata Beach. It is also available to Patong and Old Town. The staff were so helpful, in particular Mr Phu who recommend an excellent tour to Phi Phi island!

Unwelcoming front desk staff, extremely over crowded, no aesthetic charm and painstakingly slow wifi. Stay far away from this place. Worst hotel experience out of the 5 weeks we spent in Thailand.

Everything was amazing staff were awesome. Only thing I would point out is the entrance you have to walk up a big ramp style entrance and then get a lift just to get to the lobby from the road
