I had a wonderful stay at Mandarin Oriental Muscat. The hotel is elegant, peaceful, and beautifully designed, but the highlight of the experience was definitely the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional, always making sure everything was perfect. The service felt genuine and personalized, which made the stay even more special. From the restaurants to housekeeping and concierge, the hospitality was outstanding throughout. I would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Muscat.

Our stay at Mandarin Oriental Muscat was exceptional from start to finish. We were very kindly upgraded to a beautiful sea view suite. The service throughout was outstanding, with thoughtful touches like early check-in. Truly world-class facilities and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended.

Staff at the reception are not friendly at all,, starting from their manager I think his name is Hassan from Turkey

a great beautiful property with a big time staff problem - not sure this a widespread Oman issue - it could be but i didnt try any other hotels in Oman, so i dont really know. There is a staggering difference in staff professionalism and client awareness from the MO Oman and the MO Abu Dhabi - which i assign solely to the blatant lack of training of most of the staff - not that they didnt try to do the best they could at all times, which they did, and we have to be grateful for it, but the blunders are widespread at all levels of the hotel. Also the Oman property had clearly less space to develop than others that have been there for many years and as a result the whole place feels crammed into a nudge of available land - the residencies section getting more of space then the hotel itself (this was clearly a business decision that will come back to bite them. MO needs to look at this property with concern, provide more training and conduct a detailed investigation at how all sections of the hotel are working, My suggestion: try other larger older properties in the immediate neighborhood (they have the Intercon and the W nearby) or go for the Grand Dame of Oman - yes older but still has it... The Chedi. Dear Mandarin Oriental: your Oman property is going to lag behind if you dont fix it

Stayed for four nights. Superb hotel with some truly delightful staff. Great location. Overall very impressed and will recommend to others.
