It be helpful if Hotels.com made it more clear an account needed to be setup to check in. Where there was no front desk I was a bit surprised. Luckily Bob W customer service on the phone gone was geeat

Very convenient location in central Oslo. Absence of any staff also means you have to be very vigilant when you punch in the code to enter the building. A suspicious young man snuck in right behind us when we entered. Was clearly not a guest as he quickly exited a side exit and prowled the adjacent alleyway for several minutes.
We informed management online only to be told not to worry since the adjacent building was being painted. The young man we saw enter was clearly not there to paint.

Very good location, it was great to have access to a locker room before check-in and after check-out. There were some nice details like the water bottles you can borrow from the room to avoid the need of buying bottled water just to have something to fill up later.
There were a few disappointments: quite a lot of dated / broken things (the front door didn't lock, the elevator didn't work one day of our stay, visibly worn details in the room) & our room had a view of an internal courtyard and a wall - somewhat understandable with the location and the building being old, but still not nice for almost 400 USD a night.
Note: the question for rating staff in the review form on Expedia makes 0 sense as this place is fully automated (unless you have a special request, you will never talk to anybody).

Hienoa This is a nice hotel with laundry facilities, in a good location. I didn’t give them “5” because they do everything electronically and on the last day their systems failed and two young women and I were locked out of building and they were locked out of their room for a substantial amount of time

All in all a perfect budget friendly hotel in the heart of Oslo! With access to main entrance, luggage room and the hotellrom from the website.
Just send e message on WhatsApp if you need something, and they answer immediately.

Hyvä The room was very clean, and the free laundry was very appreciated. Our room was on the first floor, and the window opened directly into an alley where workers at the restaurant next door took smoke breaks - that felt a bit concerning from a safety standpoint and we couldn't open the window for fresh air too often. Otherwise the hotel itself was a good cost-effective option.

Great location. Pretty quiet rooms. Quality matched the price point. There’s only one washing machine and one dryer, but there’s a sign-up sheet and it’s free, so it’s a great refresh stay for backpackers. A lot of people had trouble with getting into the building. You MUST check in before you get there IN ORDER TO HAVE ACCESS TO THE LOBBY. THERE IS NO PHYSICAL STAFF ON SITE AND NO EASY WAY TO CONTACT THEM! Great stay, would stay here again. 6 minutes to central station

Var en del støv på rommet, men elles var det veldig fint. Hadde et lite tilfelle med at døren hadde låst seg å jeg ikke kom meg inn. Men fikk god hjelp av kundeservice, så det ordnet seg.
