Amazing staff

they had a 4 piece band playing in the lobby and world class amenities.

Aside from this being an excellent hotel (and reasonably priced, given its quality), we were particularly impressed with the service. As we were checking out, my wife left her cellphone in the handicapped bathroom on the lobby floor. As it turned out, we were to return to Hong Kong the night before our return to the US, several days later, staying at a different hotel on the peninsula. The hotel (we thank Eric in particular) arranged to have her phone returned IN PERSON when we returned. We are very grateful. In addition, the location of the hotel (near the Hong Kong Park and the Peak Tram) is excellent. The view from our large room of the Victoria Peak was entrancing. And the restaurant Ming Pavillion is terrific and Summer Palace is very good. We will recommend the hotel to friends just as the hotel was recommend to us. Bravo! Our stay made us very happy.

We got a very nice and newly renovated room. The hotel and the staff was outstanding. I never knew service could be this good at a hotel. The room was cleaned well, and they even included a extra dehumidifier to keep the humidity low, in case you don't want your room too cold from running the AC. The front desk staff and the spa staff were all wonderful. They were genuinely helpful and looked for ways to help before you asked. The breakfast was also excellent. One of the best hotels I've stayed.

Everything about The Island Shangrila was amazing.We highly recommend it.We have nothing negative to say about.It ticks all the boxes for an incredible vacation on Hong Kong Island.Will highly recommend to friends.

We had breakfast once in a 6 night stay- the food selection excellent but hot dishes were cold- the room was crowded very noises and staff pretty average. Over priced. Housekeeping staff average didn’t notice lamps needing replacing and a mess on carpet was overlooked for 15 hours It’s pretty average 5 star hotel.

Our absolute favourite place to stay in Hong Kong. Such a beautiful hotel in an absolutely awesome location. Staff went over and above to make the stay even more perfect.

Amazing!!!

We had a fabulous 3 night stay at this hotel. Location and facilities were excellent but the best thing about it was the wonderful staff. Customer service was off the scale. If I come back to HK, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
