Novotel Suites Berlin City Potsdamer Platz

The room was clean and fairly spacious, but the kitchen was disappointing. It did not have a stove or any cooking facilities, which was the main reason we chose this hotel. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations in that regard. Another issue was the size of the property. Because it is so large, the wait times for the elevators were excessive, and we often ended up taking the stairs instead. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The location was also very convenient and made it easy to get around.

The property is good for one to days max not for longer as

The room was spacious. The bathrooms were clean. However, there was a disgusting stain on the curtain. The ac wasnt cold enough and with the windows open it was too noisy to sleep. Additionally, the elevator capacity wasnt sufficient. 2 elevators isn't enough for the hotel of this size. The weight times were really long

Clean room and hotel. Nice staff. Just the usual European set up about the AC not working until it is extremely hot, but rooms have good windows.

Our check in was by a very helpful, friendly lady named Happyness. We went to our room and were very pleased. Lovely big room for 3 of us. Tea and coffee facilities, a fridge and a separate toilet and bathroom. The next morning my son woke up with a fake nail stuck to his pyjamas. Bit gross as it must have been stuck in the duvet or sheets! I spoke to a different receptionist who didn’t seem that bothered. Took our room number and said they’d clean it better. So I was expecting fresh sheets and duvet covers when we got back that day but the beds had been made but no change of sheets or duvet cover and we spotted a dead fly on the skirting board. They also could not cater for vegans at breakfast, with no vegan butter option.

Had to move a few rooms the first one was on 5th floor with bad air con on a really hot day and WiFi was intermittent. The second room also had poor air con, third room we changed to was much better for cooling and WiFi working properly and on the 1st floor.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The city center is within walking distance from the hotel.

Had a great stay as a family of 4, plenty of space in thr roomwith an added bonus of a sink, microwave and fridge in the room.hreat location, only 15 min walk from the Bradenburg Gate! Only downside was that the rooms were very warm (ac didn’t seem to work) and there was quite a lot of noise outside if you have a room facing the back!
