The room was decently clean. Our particular sink was a bit slow to drain, but otherwise okay. The front desk staff were always very friendly and helpful. The air conditioning was amazing and needed during July. The area is a bit older, but felt relatively safe with lots of stores, bakeries, restaurants and cafes around to explore. We did not explore much after dark, so we cannot give an opinion on night life. Only a 30-40 minute walk from the city centre, which is a plus.

El hotel cuenta con excelentes áreas comunes, incluyendo una mesa de billar, una sala tipo cine y un espacio compartido muy práctico para preparar el desayuno o cocinar. Las habitaciones estaban limpias, eran cómodas y ofrecían todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable.
La ubicación también es muy conveniente: se encuentra a pocos pasos del Museo Arqueológico, una visita que realmente vale la pena, y muy cerca de una estación de metro, desde donde se llega en solo dos paradas a las principales atracciones turísticas de Atenas. Aunque el barrio en sí no es especialmente bonito, nos sentimos cómodos y la excelente conexión con el transporte público compensa ampliamente este aspecto.
En conjunto, fue una excelente experiencia y sin duda recomendaría este hotel a quienes visiten Atenas, especialmente a familias con niños.

This hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We were originally assigned a non-smoking room, but it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The bathroom had visible mold, the walls were damaged with multiple dings and broken areas, and water leaked out of the shower onto the bathroom floor.
Beyond the condition of the room, the hotel is located in a very poor neighborhood, which was not accurately represented and felt misleading. Aside from the front desk staff, there was no one available to assist with guest concerns or accommodations. Overall, the property was poorly maintained, the location was disappointing, and the experience did not live up to expectations. I would not recommend staying here.

Hienoa Very basic hotel but clean, very good and helpful staff.
If you go to the lower level watch that last step it's a doozy.
Very nice roof area for after dark quiet conversation.
Overall pleased with the stay.
