The bathroom fan performed a Jazz drum solo the entire time it was on and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since it was installed in the 80s. The room smelled peppery and moist. The carpets left your feet damp. There was absolutely mould growing anywhere the darkness touched and if you think fresh air would help, you would be S.O.L. The windows do not open, although they appear to have been able to once upon a time. The mattress had a dip in the centre bigger than the Vredefort Crater, and appeared to have never been rotated, although that didn’t help much at all. The linens were questionable in terms of cleanliness and hid more questionable stains on the comforter/mattress. This stay was the epitome of “you get what you pay for”. In short, the rooms are in desperate need of renos. The staff were charming, kind, and accommodating. They truly are the best part of the Paringa. It was worth it for our wallets, but we would never stay here again.

Very comfortable and spacious room, with windows on 2 sides, nice and light. The room was large with a lounge area and the bed was very comfortable. Nicely located in the middle of the city, with some great restaurants not far away.

Staff really friendly. Needs renovation, a bit dated. Well located in the city center, but extremely noisy on weekends. Poor quality bedding.

Stayed here often. It’s central to everything, close to all types of Adelaide Public Transport and the main shopping in Rundle Mall 2 minutes away. The room quality is reflected in the price and is a little dated, but they have always been clean, the shower hot and staff very helpful.

False advertising. Was expecting a nice view over the cbd but this was a fail with my window being frosted and opening the window a tiny bit all you could see was a brick wall and plumbing pipes. Faeces in the toilet, mould in the shower area, used soap from the last person.

Always value for money. Hey it ain’t 5 star but I don’t want that. Central and handy in the middle of the city. Beds have been fine, access easy and helpful staff. Stayed often. ☮️
