Takayama Shirakawa-go & Gokayama kokopäivän UNESCO-kierros

the group was full for this trip, all from various countries and no local japanese so we were assigned an english speaking guide which was truly fantastic! she intro the various sightseeing spots and food/drinks to try, the interaction between our tourguide and us were amazing! its a dedicated bus so we were able to go sightseeing travelling light (leaving snacks, jackets in the bus) and meetup spots were so much more convenient as compared to public buses! definitely worth the money for this!

It was an excellent trip! The guide, Yamashita, is very good at her job. It was advertised that the guide is Japanese, but she can actually speak English very well. I enjoyed the trip very much. The scenery, the vibe, everything was perfect! Thank you.

Wonderful experience. It was snowing heavily but we had fun walking around the village. However, we only have 3hrs in Shirakawago, so time was tight, especially if you need to Q up for food during peak season (each store took about 20 mins to get your snacks). We barely managed to get up to the Observatory to have an overview of the village & got back to the bus. Didn’t have time to try out the guide recommended ice cream & visit the Heritage Museum though.

This tour allowed us to explore the less accessible Ainokura village in Gokayama which is less touristy than the popular Shirakawa-go area. The duration allocated for both villages are appropriate. We are also very lucky to get a guide who is well versed in English.

On recommande les yeux fermés ! la guide et le chauffeur ont été super et pleins de conseils. malgré le temps pluvieux, nous avons pu profiter pleinement de cette journée et des visites avec un timing adapté. la fabrication du papier de riz au village Ainokura fut une vrai expérience traditionnelle. merci !

建議唔好早太多買, 早一星期左右睇天氣決定幾時出發 (尤其係雪季)。喺濃飛巴士中心換實體票, 再去7號巴士站等車。我去嘅時候係冬天，不過成個禮拜都落雨, 好幸運去到五箇山時剛好天公做美飄雪, 所以雖然影唔到積雪嘅合掌村, 但都睇到靚靚嘅雪景! 相反白川鄉天氣非常差, 遊客非常多, 比較商業化, 所以本人同家人都比較喜歡五箇山, 只得50分鐘逗留時間太短，如果可以長啲就好了。整體嚟講安排都幾好, 巴士點對點接送非常方便, 導遊講解清晰helpful :) 希望可以延長五箇山同白川鄉逗留時間 (尤其要include lunch + 展望台 + 三小屋觀光)

Exchange for a physical ticket with a seat assigned at the bus terminal with the voucher. Visiting 2 places Gokayama and Shirakawa-go. The ticket included a free round trip to the observation deck and open museum at Shirakawa-go.

it was a great tour and we had amazing snow that day. phenomenal 3m high snow. it was great and really beautiful. Just remember to wear the right shoes for snow

This tour was a well organized and the guide provided tremendous amount of information in both English and Japanese. This is definitely one of the better tour we have been on.

If you have a day and want to visit both Gokayama and Shirakawa-go, this tour organised by Nohi is for you. The guide, Chinami, spoke English and Japanese and was excellent and helpful, especially in providing tips on the essential sights to visit and how much time to allocate. She even provided maps with highlighted routes for our use. There was more than enough time for a leisurely walk through both villages. This tour is highly recommended. A note that you need to print out the HIS voucher that will be emailed to you to exchange for a bus ticket and sticker at the Nohi Bus Terminal before boarding the coach at Bus Bay 7.
