Kintsugi-työpaja Singaporessa
- Kintsugi on muinainen japanilainen taidemuoto, jossa rikkoutuneita keramiikkaesineitä korjataan kullalla. Sitä opetetaan periaatteella, että kun korjaat rikkoutuneen keramiikkaesineen ja valaiset halkeamat kullalla, luot entistäkin kauniimman taideteoksen.
- Se soveltuu hyvin kaikenikäisille ihmisille, nuorille ja vanhoille, jotka saattavat kokea 'särkyneisyyttä' (emotionaalista ahdistusta) ja tuntea taakkaa tietyistä 'halkeamista' (epäonnisista tapahtumista) työstressin tai ystävien, perheen tai kollegoiden kanssa olevien suhdeongelmien vuoksi.
- Kintsugi-parantumissession kautta opetamme osallistujille, kuinka luoda oikeat yhteydet (liimaamalla rikkoutuneet keramiikkapalat) ja toipua vaikeuksista sekä jatkaa elämää.
- Kintsugi-taide opettaa meille myös kestävyyttä – korjaa ja käytä uudelleen rikkoutuneet keraamiset lautasesi, kulhosi jne. Älä heitä niitä pois!
- Kaikki ovat tervetulleita oppimaan Kintsugia – nuoret, aikuiset, seniorit, LGBTQ-yhteisön jäsenet ja pyörätuoliystävällinen.

Mitä odottaa
Aloita istuntosi lyhyellä esityksellä Kintsugin historiasta ja sen suhteesta jokapäiväiseen elämäämme. Sitten valitsisit japanilaisen keramiikkakappaleen ja rikkoisit sen!
Sen jälkeen korjaisit keramiikan halkeaman halkeamalta ja viimeistelisit sen kultapölyllä.
Palaat kotiin kauniin valmiin Kintsugi-mestariteoksen kanssa ihanassa Sakura-kukkalahjapakkauksessa.

I had a wonderful and excellent experience on this workshop! From the sharing on what is kintsugi about, the breaking, the mending and the sharing! the therapy also spoke personally to me! the friendly teacher Nilo & assistant Chong were very approachable too!
I was intrigued by the tagline "Broken made beautiful," and I was blown away by the experience. From the process of selecting our pottery piece, breaking, arranging, sticking the pieces together, fixing, and adding the finishing touches, it was indeed therapeutic. Nilo, the lovely lady who started this studio, was so warm and generous. My girl enjoyed the session thoroughly and asked me when will be the next time we would return. Thank you, Nilo, for starting @kintsugiartstudio and hosting us. ❤️
Had an Amazing time. Really relaxing experience creating my piece . Met some lovely people at the class. Also learnt about kintsugi as an art form. The beginners workshop was deffo worth it and good value for money. The instructor was really knowledgeable and patient with us.
Went for the beginners course. It was a relaxing and easy to follow course. Ceramics, resin and tools are provided. The studio is a nice stylish space and Nilo is a great mentor~

Nilo is such a patient, pleasant and beautiful coach. Having to understand more about Kintsugi and the beauty behind the "broken art" is a constant reminder to ourselves to see life in a different perspective. We enjoyed the class through the few hours!
It was a fun birthday experience that I planned for my husband, and we enjoyed it alot. Calm and peaceful workshop :)

Nilo was a great lady who was really patient with us throughout the entire sessions I’m also truly amazed at how she incorporated healing into the whole Kintsugi concept. I truly appreciated the effort at this attempt to incorporate mental wellness and I hope more people would benefit from her sessions! We went there for our 5th dating anniversary, and it was an interesting experience indeed and we truly enjoyed ourselves.
Learned about the history of Kintsugi and how to mend broken ceramics. Nice and relaxing workshop. Enjoyed the whole session.
