Ujii is a beautiful area and the tour included a meal using matcha as an ingredient, some education about the local cultural history, a small matcha making and drinking experience, and even some delicious matcha ice cream. Yume was an incredible guide and I'm so grateful to be able to spend a half day with her! She is fluent in English, so we were able to ask a lot of questions and learn a lot from her. She is very knowledgeable and kind. I would recommend anyone I know going to Japan to seek out this tour. Thanks for a great day Yume!

This experience was a highlight of our Japan trip. From start to finish, we truly enjoyed the whole day. Our guide, Ako was awesome! We learned so much about shrines, temples, and of course matcha tea! This is an experience worth booking to get the most out of a day in Uji.

Our tour guide Jahmela is very knowledgeable about the Japanese culture and the Uji, Kyoto area. it was a bonus that she’s an American so there was no language barrier. We learned a lot about Uji matcha, it was also fun learning to do the tea ceremony. The food, sweets and ice cream were all so amazing too. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Jahmela and the rest of the tour team mates.

One of the best tours we did in Japan. our guide was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and used to be an English teacher which made the experience even better. Uji is a wonderful place to visit. Highly recommended.

Fantastic tour of the world of Matcha around Uji. Our guide Ronan was knowledgeable of the area and Matcha. We loved it
