we arrived around 8am and it was the perfect time. it was a great experience to visit the great wall. I highly suggest to do cable car both ways. Taking tobogan for the experience was exhausting plus the line was too long! we took lots of photos and copied poses of other guests. this is a must visit when in Beijing. Do this on you first whole day of the trip.

Overall, the Mutianyu tour was smooth and enjoyable. Transport and itinerary were well arranged.
However, there was a coordination issue. We arrived early at Exit C (7:06am), stayed in contact with the tour team, and waited as instructed. The tour guide had already arrived but was waiting at the upper area with a small orange flag, not at Exit C as shown in the meeting photo. She did not inform us the bus had arrived and did not look for us. We only discovered this ourselves at 7:35am and had to cross the road and walk a distance to the bus, making us among the last to board despite being punctual.
We also felt uncomfortable being told that everyone must give a good review on Klook. Good service should naturally earn good reviews.
Other parts of the tour were smooth. We hope the company improves communication and meeting point coordination in the future.

To flower my guide tour today you such a great tour guide and professional.. this is very worth and amazing tour.. l would recommend you to join this activity once reaching China.. l took west side and east side however, east side is more stunning and best scene

It was easy to navigate to the metro station and follow the instructions to find the tour bus. However, this was my first time on a fully booked bus. As there were many individual travelers, if you are a pair, consider going to the pickup place slightly earlier to get seats together. Our tour guide, Donna, is very knowledgeable, and I have learned a great deal about China. Even after touring the Great Wall of China, the tour guide shared information about Beijing in general.

had Michael as our tour, was amazing, very informative, helpful and kind. kept clear communication with us throughout the tour and messaged day before. even tho it rained was still able to have an enjoyable day

Absolutely loved this! Flower was amazing and she made the day easy and stress free. She made sure we knew where we where going, what side of the wall we wanted to see and also gave us the opportunity to add the opposite side as well. Flower told us where the best photo opportunities where and the differences between the Sky Lift and the Cable Car so you can have a better idea about what side you want to explore. At the end, she made sure we where well looked after and fed. I’d highly recommend Flower and this tour - Complete Hero’s Pass it’s brilliant!

Flower was an amazing & responsible guide! Ensured communications were clear and she was very meticulous with a big group. Suggestions: there’s a lot of time given to explore so please do both the East and West, with the cable car and chair lift and tobanggan. It’s definitely an experience. Tobanggan only for those below 60 years old. You can add on the east or west option for 140CNY per pax. Flower will guide you with that so just book it through her on the bus. Do bring your passport for this trip, it’ll be so helpful. Otherwise the Great Wall is so dreamy and majestic!

choosing mutianyu over badaling was a great decision. it wasnt crowded in this area. not completely empty but we dont bump into each other. michael was great and really helpful! highly reco using the open cable car and toboggan ride (which were separate tickets from this)
