Mabul- ja Kapalai-saarten snorklauskierros Sempornassa

The tour was subcontracted to another company and it was a large group. The boat turned back to the jetty after leaving to pick up some passengers. You’ll need to pay RM 50 per person to enter the Mabul Water Bungalow, mainly for photo taking purposes. There was not much coral or fish while snorkeling at Mabul. You will not be able to go up to Kapalai as it is a private resort.

We love this tour as Kapalai island and Mabul Island both has crystal clear water, lots of fishes, many turtles. there are two western went there for diving, one tour guide followed the two of them. Total four of us in a family, another tour guide take care of us. he led us to three snorkeling sites, as he is very familiar with the places, we can always see very beautiful sea life and fishes. If just snorkelling by ourselves, we sure missed a lot of scenes. Big thanks to our tour guide.

行程很用心，中午的用餐地點很乾淨舒服。導遊很詳盡的說明，不像其他行程很緊湊，也提供了很充分的時間做浮潛，對比其他家或其他跳島行程非常好玩，大力推薦。

Aivan hullu päivä. Sekä Bohey Dulang -matkan että Mabul Kapalin järjesti sama tiimi (UC Islanders Adventure). He ovat ehdottomasti parhaita. Vaikka olin pettynyt, ettei Mabul-bungalowien maksu sisältynyt hintaan (se on 50 RM), olin erittäin tyytyväinen, sillä vierailimme siellä noin 2 tuntia ja jätimme viimeisen snorklaussession väliin. Minun piti lennättää drooniani. Olisin voinut tehdä sen bungalowien vastaanotosta, jonne on ilmainen pääsy, mutta maksoin ja menin sisään. Meidän piti räätälöidä aika, jonka halusimme viettää bungaloweilla, ja tiimi onnistui järjestämään sen meille, vaikka se oli heidän retkisuunnitelmansa vastaista. Suuri kiitos siitä!

Abbiamo fatto ieri l’escursione per mabul e kapalai. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di avere un sole splendente e una guida super! Kavin ci ha accompagnato per tutte le tappe di snorkling facendoci vedere una sacco di pesci e 10/15 tartarughe marine!! Mai viste prima!! Grandissime e bellissime! Cibo squisito, mangiato in barca nel totale relax! Rientro in barca con altre guide che cantavano e suonavano per noi! Consigliatissima!

Oli onni, että Riri auttoi, ja snorklausretki päättyi tänään onnistuneesti. Tapasimme Komodon varaanin Mabul-saarella ja ostimme suuren hummerin. Snorklaus on täällä hyvää, paljon merikilpikonnia ja kaloja.

Free hotel pick up was provided in the morning. But when we arrived mabul island we were been informed that no snorkeling equipment and tour guide, luckily our temporary tour guide managed to borrow the equipment and bring 6 of us snorkeling. He is friendly and helpful, snorkeling for about 1 hour. Towel was provided when we back to the boat. To enter the Mabul Water Bungalow, need to pay RM 50 per person. Buffet lunch at the retaurant on the sea. Mabul and Kapalai island is very nice, we managed to see a lot of fishes and turtles. Overall we were enjoyed the trip.

There were only 4 of us, and only I snorkel, the rest dive. Unfortunately it was raining quite heavily when we got to Mabul island, so the water was quite murky. I didn't get into the water bungalows tho, I didn't think it was worth it. The corals in Mabul are not really natural, they were planted, it was still nice, just not as nice as the natural ones elsewhere. The second snorkeling spot was in Kapalai island area, and that was a very good spot. It was also raining when we got there, but it wasn't as murky as it was in Mabul. Pretty clear water actually. The third spot was at Panglima Reef near this island that we had our lunch at. It was a good spot as well despite shallow water due to the tide. Guides from the office to the boat were all friendly, and they can speak English, Malay, and Mandarin (the ones on the boat). Lots of Chinese national tourists here, definitely makes things easier and smoother with them. I'd recommend for the 2nd and 3rd spots for snorkeling, but you can't skip Mabul anyway, so might as well enjoy it

Most colourful underwater scene compare to Timba Timba and Mataking island. Completed 3 snokling spots and lunch at the seaview pier was a wonderfully relaxing spot. Great support from the boat and snokling team also.

We managed to snorkelling at Kapalai and visit at Mabul island. We didnt pay for the Mabul island water bungalow as the boat not stop at the water bungalow jetty which we stop at another jetty of another resort. And instructor brings us to walk around the Mabul island of course the water bungalow excluded. Kapalai snorkelling is nice, manage to see big fish, sea eel and turtle. He is kind and helpful.
