they speak little English but they are very welcoming and friendly, there is plus size kimono available for the bigger girls. there is many stylish and pretty kimono to choose and I got overwhelmed with the choosing and the store clerk was nice to assist me to find the kimono that suits me, the location is very near the station as well

Super fun experience wearing kimono from Hanaka. Extremely good service and extremely professional. They keep making sure that the kimono was worn the right way and looked good. No kidding ☺️ and their hairdo was also very nice. Everything was written clearly on what we chose will have extra charges. So u don’t need to be afraid at the end u are charged unknowingly. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend this kimono rental shop at Asakusa, best value for money rental with lots of selection since they have just moved to a bigger shop in Adakusa. Easy to find and the staffs very polite and efficient eager to serve you with energy.

the ladies working here were pretty great and quick! they’ll take care of you and will take pictures after as well. you just have to add 2200 yen each if you are bigger size like us lol

服務專業，中文溝通也很順暢！地點花了一點時間尋找，但還是順利找到了。我們只購買基本方案，以為會很陽春，結果換裝後效果很棒髮型也很精緻, 女兒非常喜歡，真是她最棒的畢業禮物, 讓她畢業很難忘！老闆娘也十分好客，一直目送我們下樓，因為女兒頭髮多又長頭髮一度盤不起來, 謝謝闆娘出馬弄了很漂亮的髮型！下次有機會來日本一定會再全家體驗！

Great experience! Hassle free redemption and the staff are professional. Such a memorable experience walking on the streets of Asakusa while wearing kimono.

The place is near Asakusa station. The staff are accommodating and give suberb service. You can book the basic ones first then just pay extra at the rental shop if you want to upgrade your outfit. They took photos of us (attached) in front of the shop and sent these through Instagram.

The people are really accommodating amd will help you in choosing. They are also quick as I'm done with dressing up and fixing my hair in about 20 mins? It is great to experience walking down the streets of Asakusa while wearing their traditional clothing as you get the better feel of their culture and tradition. Just a reminder that the clothing is tight and really fit so that's something you must consider before eating at Nakamise Street which has a lot of food options!
