Really enjoyed the experience. Smooth van transfers to and from the Hobbiton site from Auckland and the vehicle is really comfortable. The tour guide on the hobbiton tour is really knowledgeable that you get to experience the full movie yourself. The movie set is unbelievably amazing and looks just like the movie.

Our driver and guide, David, was very happy when we met him. I learned a lit of things and trivias about New Zealand as well as Auckland. He was very nice. The time for the tour was enough. Our guide within the Hobbiton, Kingston, was so funny! he was very effective as a guide.

Beautiful day at Hobbiton Movie Set. From pick-up to the tour itself and the trip back to Auckland, everything happened smoothly. Definitely worth the day tour!~ Too bad I couldn't go to the Waitomo Caves since I was a solo traveller (they need minimum 2 pax). It was like Microsort background in real life!!

During the journey, he share with us the history of New Zealand which was very interesting. He also share us tips so we can have the full experience at the hobbiton tour. After the tour, Mr. Adil provide us with water and snacks and already waiting patiently for us. He is very attentive and always making sure we have enough time to see everything. Overall, the tour went so smooth and fun! biggest thanks to Mr. Adil for his top notch service, I would gladly signing up for another tour with Auckland & Beyond if I ever visit Auckland again in future.

dave was a great driver going to hobbiton. his smooth voice sooths me. thats why i always fall asleep when he talks plus the driving was safe. the hobbiton set was great. though we havent watch the trilogy we still enjoyed the set because it is very realistic. the free beer also was great

Dave picked us up on time and was a fantastic guide! He didn’t just drive us but he also shared a lot of information about Auckland along the way. On the way back, he showed us a beautiful dam. Hobbiton itself was so beautiful and is a must see for any Lord of the Rings fan.

I loved it! So worth it. The weather was so nice when we went. The driver who picked us from the hotel us very kind, and our tour guide inside the hobbiton is soooo good and funny! I will definitely go back next time! Thank you, it was a fun experience. 💕

Even you did not watch Hobbit movie or The Lord of the Rings, you can definitely enjoy here. it’s so magical place. So calm and peaceful. The bus leaves on time by the way and they are strict with the tour schedule.

David our tour guide was punctual and well-informed. During the drive up to the venue, he was telling us about some of Auckland and NZ’s history. He was kind enough to stop by the nearest servo when my partner got motion sickness and had to use a toilet. The instructions were very clear when we got to the hobbit tour. We got transferred to a bus of the company that actually does the tours. And on our way back the drop off was right our hotel’s doorstep. Very convenient. 10/10 would recommend.
