Mitä odottaa
Sukella Peranakan-kulttuurin värikkääseen maailmaan tässä dynaamisessa työpajassa! Tutustu tarunhohtoiseen Kam Cheng -ruukkuun – Nyonya-aarteeseen häitä ja juhlia varten – samalla kun valmistat oman savenvalajan pyörällä. Aloita vilkkaalla kulttuurisella johdannolla, jossa tutustutaan monimutkaisiin perinteisiin Peranakan-aiheisiin, kuten feeniksiin ja pioniin. Sen jälkeen kääri hihat ylös syvälliseen savenvalantatyöpajaan, jossa muotoilet ruukkusi elegantit sivut ja kannen asiantuntevassa ohjauksessa. Viimeistele se maalaussessiolla, jossa käytetään klassisia Peranakan-värejä ja tyyliä. Mestarityösi poltetaan ja valmistellaan noudettavaksi myöhemmin – ajaton muistoesine, joka juhlistaa perintöä ja luovuutta.

we had quite an interesting time making a small kam cheng (or Peranakan style pot) from scratch. the instructor was excellent and helpful, but also allowing us some hands-on throwing and building of the clay. Had a fun time.
it was very fun to do pottery and paint also will need to come back to collect and excited to see what it is like! recommend!

very awesome lesson conducted by a very friendly and helpful instructor. she ensured that each of us have a product to bring home at the end of the day and even offered to stay w us to complete the painting of our work.
I was terribly late, but the instructor still gave individual guidance — I was really touched. I think everyone would be interested in this course, especially with such a friendly coach. The ceramic-making process wasn’t as easy as I imagined, but you really enjoy the experience and the sense of satisfaction. I finally have my own piece of work! 😂
Absolutely amazing experience . We learned so much , Les was so friendly and patient and it was truly such a wonderful journey . I cant recommend this enough , just give it a try and enjoy the process
It was a fun and enjoyable time! We did the 3 hour Kam Cheng Pot Wheel Throwing Pottery workshop, and our instructor Jia Ying was very nice and helpful to us. We made the base, lid, and painting was included.
Les was very friendly and patience to walk us through the process. it was a joyful session and would highly recommend anyone who wants to try pottery
The class was easy enough for almost all age groups. Instructors were nice and helpful. Guidance were on point and easy to follow.
