Chiang Mai Doi Inthanon & Elephant Sanctuary Full-Day Wildlife Tour

Nop being an excellent, lively and informatice tour guide made this trip easy and memorable! we all had lots of fun despite the bad weather! He is an excellent tour guide ensuring we are safe, we are satisfied and happy! I will definitely recommend and book this one again in the future!

Nop was very kind and knowledgeable. He was insightful when it came to the elephants and showed us everything there was to know about the elephants. The staff at the sanctuary were very kind and helpful as well. The driver was great too, taking us to each location. We had a great day!

Mel and tan were real ones. great information , safe drive, amazing stops. the elephant tour alone was worth it. a lunch is provided right by the river🏄‍♂️. bring a rain jacket and another layer for the top. there was only 2 people in the group, so we had basically a private tour. mucho mahalos

Had a wonderful trip. The guide was very informative and explained things well. Most of the Elephants are rescued and we fed them, pet them, and bathed one. They seem to treat the elephants well. To get the one down to the river to bathe, they lured it with sugar cane and fed it in the river so it stayed. We spent a good amount of time with the elephants and then ate lunch before heading to Doi Inthanon. Lunch was Buffet style consisting of: rice, pad Thai, vegetables, fruit, chicken with potato curry/ Massaman, and chicken nuggets. It tasted good. Doi Inthanon was beautiful and we spent some time at several different areas. the Temperature was 13 Celsius at the very top. Throughout the trip we never felt rushed which was very nice.

Koko matka oli erittäin mielenkiintoinen. Opas selitti paljon eri paikkojen kulttuurista ja tiedosta. Pääsimme vuorovaikuttamaan norsujen kanssa läheltä, ruokkimaan niitä ja auttamaan niitä peseytymään. Kävelimme luontopolulla ja näimme vesiputouksia.

Oppaamme Ronnie on humoristinen ja innostunut. Reittisuunnitelma on hyvin laadittu, eikä liian fyysisesti rasittava. Saavumme norsuleiriin ensimmäisenä aamulla ja vuoren huipulle keskipäivällä, ja vuorella on viileää ja tuulista (vilu!). Upeat näkymät ja suloiset sekä älykkäät norsut!

Oli mahtava matka, oppaamme Nop puhui selkeästi ja oli erittäin avulias koko matkan ajan! Suosittelisin tätä kaikille Chiang Maissa.

Overall it was an enjoyable itinerary. We were well taken care of with thoughtful touches such as toilet paper and umbrellas prepared for participants. The elephants were wonderful and we had plenty of time to engage with them. It was a shame that the weather was not the best at Doi Intanon and we could barely see the Pagodas due to low visibility. The drive was a little uncomfortable due to the driving style of the driver, he was careful but constantly braking while going downhill would affect passengers with motion sickness

We had the pleasure of being guided by Mr. NOP. And he was honestly a very funny man. He was very well, knowing he knew what he was talking about, and he was very enthusiastic and made sure that nobody was left out. I want to thank Mr. NOP as he made my experience extremely wonderful. And I would recommend it for everybody.
