Guide 茶金 was very friendly. We gave a list of places we wanted to go to, and he arranged it accordingly. He gave us our own time to explore places, and did not rush us. He even gave us some good suggestions on where to go for eg coffee at wenbi village, and brought us to a lunch place along the way (which was very yummy) as we had no idea where to go. He took us to some photo shots along the way, and shared his knowledge of Yunnan with us. It was an enjoyable trip!

Went for the tour at the end of April and got assigned driver Cha Jin (茶金师傅). He was really friendly and easy to talk to, and very accommodating throughout the trip. Along the way, he also shared interesting facts and bits of knowledge about Dali, which made the journey more engaging. He helped us think through our schedule and recommended a few extra places we could check out, which made the trip feel more flexible and enjoyable. The car was comfortable and the music playlist was nice too. We did a day trip around Dali and had a really great time with our guide. He was friendly, easygoing, and very knowledgeable, which made the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable. He was also super punctual, accommodating, and always happy to help with anything we needed. What we really appreciated was how flexible he was. He even let us stop spontaneously for strawberry picking and a quick horse ride along the way. As long as we stayed on the same route and got back on time, he was totally fine with it. We felt well taken care of and would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting Dali!

My friends and I loved the private tour!! Our driver, 茶金, was very knowledgeable and friendly throughout the tour, amazing music choices too. He suggested places for us to go and even recommended us a place for lunch that was well known and loved by locals! The restaurant specialised in local Bai Ethnic Group cuisine and it was amazing, one of the best meals we had. I highly recommend booking your private tour from them, it will be definitely memorable and super worth it as it covers most of the internet famous and must go places in Dali.

Guide 空白 was knowledgeable and accommodating. Vehicle was slightly dusty with cigarette smell. Locations were beautiful and weather was good. Our guide was upfront and realistic about our timing and itinerary, and even brought us to a nice local restaurant.

The driver 袁 was very friendly and polite. He drove us around Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor, Xizhou Ancient City , Shuanglang Ancient City and many other areas. He also suggested nice places for us to have coffee.

We had an unforgettable tour around Erhai Lake and the beautiful attractions of Dali. What made this experience even more special was our driver. He was incredibly patient, professional, and always willing to assist us throughout the journey. Despite the language barrier, he communicated very well using WeChat translation, ensuring that we understood everything and never felt lost or confused. He went above and beyond to make our trip comfortable, smooth, and enjoyable. He was always on time, drove safely, recommended great photo spots, and patiently waited whenever we wanted to take pictures or spend extra time admiring the views. Thanks to his hard work and genuine care for his guests, we were able to enjoy a stress-free, memorable, and amazing tour. We highly recommend him to anyone visiting Dali and Erhai Lake. Five stars are not enough to describe how satisfied we are with this wonderful experience!

He took time to understand our sightseeing needs and schedule for the day and provided advice so that we can maximise our day without rushing through the attractions. Other than the beautiful sights, the engaging conversations with him on the local culture and way of life enhanced our experience. The family concurred that the day trip surpassed our expectations and we would recommend it to folks looking at seeing the best of Dali sans the hassle of self-navigation, not to mention great and safe driving.
