Aito teeseremonia Honmachin luokka

It was a very authentic experience teaching us how to brew matcha! It was very detailed at times, teaching us how to appreciate the customs and culture. Hands-on experience is included! Tip: Book later in the day; you might end up with a private experience like us! It’s okay if you’re not able to find the building; the teacher will most likely go down to meet and greet you.

This was such a beautiful and memorable experience. The tea ceremony itself was incredibly informative and we learned so much about the history, meaning, and cultural significance behind each movement and tradition. It felt truly authentic, not just something put on for tourists, but a genuine glimpse into Japanese culture. Everything was explained in a way that made it easy to appreciate the intention and mindfulness behind the ceremony, which made the experience even more special. The kimono rental was absolutely worth it! It added another layer to the experience and made it feel even more immersive and meaningful. The staff were kind, attentive, and made sure everything was comfortable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Japan.

The tea master was patient and knowledgeable, he explained each important step of the tea ceremony. We were given a delicious miso caramel sweet treat to eat before we were guided by the tea master to prepare the tea for each other.A very personal experience.

Vielen Dank!!

It was an unforgettable experience! Had my tea ceremony late in the evening and was therefore lucky enough to be alone with the master. I felt very comfortable throughout and was able to learn a lot about this part of Japanese culture. Thank you for everything and it was an honor to learn from you!

Great experience! We were able to do a private class with the tea master and we learned a lot. We left the class knowing more about Japanese culture and the purpose of tea ceremony.
