Nico was an amazing guide and she was very personable. she was great for this tour and it felt like I knew her for awhile. she made the the tour, with great food and I would very much would love to do it again some day. Everything from the dumplings to the glutinous rice gelato was fantastic!

미식의 도시 상하이를 정말 로컬 바이브로 즐길 수 있게 해준 투어에요! 우리의 가이드 TJ는 영어, 중국어, 한국어를 모두 잘하고 문화적, 인문학적 소양이 뛰어났어요! 단순히 현지인 맛집을 찾아가는 것이 아닌 “상하이 토박이의 미식 기행 다큐” 같은 느낌이었어요. 음식 뿐만 아니라 상하이 사람들의 생활, 문화, 요리에 대한 여러가지 배경 등을 설명해줘서 너무 재밌었어요. 밝고 사교적인 TJ는 투어 참여자 중 누구하나 소외되지 않도록 세심하면서도 부담스럽지 않게 투어를 이끌어 나갔어요. 그리고 푸드투어의 핵심! 음식! 그녀가 선택한 코스는 완벽했어요! 파기름면과 각종 토핑, 샹하이덕, 과일, 샤오롱바오, 셩젠바오, 망고사고까지…. 투어에서 먹은 모든 음식이 정말 맛있었고 식당도 깔끔하면서도 로컬바이브가 듬뿍 묻어나고 전통있었어요! 코스를 고민한 흔적이 보인달까요? 걷다가 먹고 걷고 차도 타고(차 컨디션 좋은 고급차로 불러줘요) 상하이에 도착한 첫 날 이 투어를 신청한 제 자신이 너무 기특했어요! 여러분 블로그, 유투브에 올라와있는 맛집만 갈게 아니라 당장 푸드투어를 신청하셔야해요…. 전 이 경험 덕분에 앞으로 다른 어떤 도시를 여행하든 푸드투어를 체험해야겠단 생각까지 들었어요❤️최고의 가이드 TJ에게 감사를 전합니다❤️

We had an amazing time with Jim! Our family really enjoyed getting to sample such a wide variety of local foods here in Shanghai. Our parents, who are seniors, especially appreciated the leisurely walk paired with Jim’s fascinating insights into the city’s history, architecture, flowers, and culture. If you’re a foodie and love Chinese cuisine, you’re in for an absolute treat! Thank you, Jim, for such a memorable experience!

너무너무 만족도가 높은 투어였습니다! 정말 감사하게도 한국어+영어가 되시는 가이드분이시라 너무 편하고 즐겁게 투어를 즐겼는데요! 음식만 맛보는게 아니라 간단한 주변 설명도 곁들여 주셔서 알차게 즐겼습니다! 솔직히 여행내내 미슐랭 맛집들과 한국인 유명맛집들은 다 실패해서 정말 실망했었었거든요.. 여행중 제일 기억에 남는건 가이드님의 맛집이여서 그나마 상하이 음식에 좋은 기억을 가져가는거 같아요! 혹시나 상하이 음식 뭐부터 손 대야될지 모르겠다 싶으면 한번 신청하는거 좋은 선택지일듯 합니다. 음식은 일인당으로 나오는것이 아닌 한두어개로 나눠 맛보고 또 다른 장소 가보는것이여서 맛 보시고 마음에 드시는 음식을 따로 포장하거나 그 종류의 음식을 다른 음식점에서도 먹어보는것이 좋을것 같습니다. The tour was great to explore parts of Shanghai that tourist wouldn’t normally know. The food was great, one of the best dumplings and potstickers I’ve had! Our guide, Jade is amazing with great energy. She’s also very knowledgeable and answered our questions about Shanghai. One thing that can be improved is the price of the tour. A bit expensive for 4-5 stops and samples. The cost is the same as the Xuyan Royal Banquet and River Dinner cruise and you get more food at those experiences. I believe more people will book if the cost was fair.

Kurt was extremely kind & knowledgeable & made the foodie tour fun & memorable. come hungry for facts & food , highly recommend for those looking to taste sample a variety of food for all to enjoy .

"I booked this tour on my first day in Shanghai, and it turned out to be the best decision I made. I ended up revisiting some of the restaurants in the following days—I never would’ve discovered them on my own. We stopped at seven different spots, and each one was fantastic. Our foodie guide, Patrick, was incredibly friendly and engaging, sharing fun facts about Shanghai as we ate and walked between locations. The tour was lively and enjoyable from start to finish. 언어가 통하지 않는 중국에서 현지인만 알고 있는 찐 맛집을 찾아가는 투어입니다.3가지 음식과 과일과 차를 먹었는데 저는 국수집과 찻집이 정말 좋았어요. 가이드인 Jim Wang Jian은 하나하나 친절하게 설명해주었습니다. 영어투어라고 너무 겁먹지 마시고 꼭 체험해보았으면 좋겠습니다.일행 9명이 다 좋아했고 우리는 정말 배불리 먹었습니다. 강력히 추천합니다.

Love the food choices! All the foods were really good, esp when I came in hungry from my long flight😆I’m glad to chose this tour on my first day so I know what to eat! Jim also very knowledgable and explained many things. totally recommended!!
