Tämä matka oli erinomainen, suurelta osin kiitos matkaoppaamme, VIP Travelin Evan. Siitä hetkestä lähtien, kun hän esitteli itsensä, aina kierroksen loppuun asti, hän oli uskomattoman avulias. Hän teki kokemuksesta kiehtovan jakamalla historiaa ja mielenkiintoisia faktoja jokaisesta pysähdyksestä. Eva pysyi kanssamme koko ajan, opastaen meitä kaikkien pakollisten nähtävyyksien läpi, jotta emme jääneet mistään paitsi, ja hän vastasi kärsivällisesti kaikkiin kysymyksiimme. Jay, our guide is good. He was able to explain the significance of the Suwon City during the Joseon Dynasty. We are only able to go to a portion of the Hwaseong Fortress as it was very cold the day we were there in Suwon. We also went to the palace where the king was staying in Suwon. Also went to the Starfield Library, it’s much beautiful than the obe in Gangnam. The 3 places would have been great for me. The Gwangmyeong Cave has nothing special. LED lights, a small museum, wine store and winery. That’s it. Overall, the cave tour will bot be missed.

our tour guide was a lovely lady, Gabby and she was very attentive to the needs of her tour members, ensuring that each different group does have opportunity for photo-taking, sufficient toilet breaks. She also patiently explained the key details of each destination, ensuring not to bore us but yet ensuring we knew sufficient background/history of each site. It was raining when we arrived back in Myeongdong and both the driver and Gabby was so nice to drop us near our hotel instead of the usual drop-off point so that we will not be caught in the rain. Thank you to Gabby and the driver! it was a great experience!

itinerary was well planned and timing was perfect - we managed to catch all the performances with almost no wait time in between. Special thanks to our friendly guide Alex for sharing with us the history of Suwon Fortress and Gwangmyeong Cave. We had an entertaining day! 👏🏻👍🏻

An enjoyable day with Eva, our guide, who looked after us well. Transport was smooth. The highlight of the trip was the Hwaseong Fortress surrounded by beautiful autumn hues. We would have given the Gwangmyeong Cave a miss if we had been given the flexibility of selecting the places to visit.

The fortress was so beautiful. We loved the grounds and the palace and martial arts demo were good to see. The Starfield mall and library were amazing. Nice mall. The cave tour was unexpectedly quirky. Great photos though.

If you're in Seoul, I would recommend this day tour out to Suwon. It was a small and private tour of 4 people in my group - us (daughter and mom) and 2 other female tourists. My tour guide Alice was really knowledgeable and funny. She shared many history background and stories of the places we visited. There was never a boring moment and she even helped us take many photos too. Thanks Alice, for being a great tour guide and Mr Kim for driving us safely around Suwon. It was indeed a nice relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of Seoul. Gamsahabnida!

If you’re in seoul I highly recommend you do this tour. It was a small and very private tour up to 6/7 people. Lucikly when i went with my girlfriend, it was only the two of us. My tour guide LILY WAS SO AWESOME! super knowledgeable and really knows her history with all the places we went. Lily if you’re reading this, thank you for an incredibly knowledgeable tour guide!

My mum and I went on this tour with tour guide Juno. He was fantastic in explaining a lot of history and stories throughout our tour and answered our many questions. My mum and I weren’t too familiar with a lot of the history and so we came away having learnt a lot which added so much to our experience. We were given ample time at each attraction to explore and take many photos. Thank you so much Juno and our driver.

We had our day in Suwon on a cloudy Saturday in April. They had clear instructions on meeting time and place and the driver is very polite. This is a lovely place with the UNESCO site which is the Suwon ancient fortress. This is a fortress that spreads out a big area of the city so I think exploring by car/joining a local tour is the best way. Our guide Juno is very attentive and caring and he always found the optimal moment to enter the palace/hall so as to avoid the crowd. We have ample time to have lunch in the mall and take photos in the Starfield library. Some of our buddies even managed to queue up to try the famous London Bagel Museum in the mall. The last stop was a cave which was built around 100 years ago and was now decorated with colourful lights. We enjoyed a vibrant light show there. Overall I highly recommend this trip!
