How can I add Klook eSIM to my device without tapping the activation button?
Use one of these methods:
- Scan the QR code
- Manually install through the SM-DP+ detail
1. QR code scan Use this method if you have the QR code printed out or displayed on another screen. It works on all eSIM-compatible devices.
Steps:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Cellular or Mobile Service.
- Select Add eSIM.
- Tap Use QR Code.
- Scan the QR code with your camera.
- When the Activate eSIM screen appears, tap Continue.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. Note: This process only installs the eSIM on your phone. It won't activate your data plan just yet.
2. Manual installation through SM-DP+ Details Can't scan the QR code or use your camera? You can easily install your eSIM manually by entering the details in your device settings.
For iPhone devices
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Cellular or Mobile Service.
- Select Add eSIM.
- Tap Use QR Code.
- Select Enter Details Manually.
- Copy and paste the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code provided by your carrier (these are codes, not links). Tap Next, then Continue. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
For Android devices
- Find manual installation details from My eSIMs on the Klook app or website.
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet.
- Tap the Add (+) icon next to Mobile Network.
- When prompted “Don’t have a SIM card?”, tap Next.
- Select Enter Code Manually.
- Enter the SM-DP+ Address from your manual installation details.
💡 Tip: If required, set up your APN (Access Point Name). You can find these details in your eSIM installation info. Need help? Reach out to customer support anytime.
