How is my spending amount calculated?

Once you’ve completed a booking, the amount (before taxes, fees, and discounts) will count toward your membership progress. If you paid in a local currency, we’ll convert the amount into US dollars based on the exchange rate at the time your booking was confirmed.

Here are a few things that don’t count toward your membership progress:

• Car rental bookings: Additional equipment (like child seats), deposits, and deposit deductions
  
• Train bookings: Admin fees deducted after ticket refunds
  
• Airport transfers: Offline payments for overtime waiting fees
  
• Hotel bookings: Hotel taxes
