If you want to avoid crowds, try to get here after 7 p.m. It's totally worth it! I went by myself and got a whole boat to myself. After you get your ticket at the counter, someone will show you to your boat. You'll get a cup of herbal tea and two lanterns. The paddler was super friendly, and you can even ask him to take videos or pictures of you when you let go of the lanterns. I really loved the boat ride!

The tickets purchased on Klook were easy to use, and the main show was definitely worth seeing. There were also some great mini-shows.

The Hoi An Memories Show was one of the highlights of our visit to Hoi An. The production is impressive, with hundreds of performers, beautiful costumes, and a massive outdoor stage by the river. The show tells the story of Hoi An’s history through dance, music, and stunning visuals. The choreography and lighting were amazing, and every scene was well done. It’s a unique cultural experience and definitely worth watching if you’re visiting Hoi An.

It was very immersive and felt like a new kind of circus. Even elementary and middle school kids enjoyed it, and sitting on the side was fine. I had a screenshot of my reservation, and they quickly confirmed the tickets. It was also great that taking photos with the performers after the show was free.

We went to the Hoi An Memories show, not having any idea what to expect. It is a brilliant show with hundreds of artistic dancers with elegant colorful costumes, sets, props and creative water cannons, flames and laser light show all combined. A multi act play with at least 5 scenes, we were thrilled we had VIP seats as it rained fairly significantly from time to time, we were under cover of the building so it did affect us at all. There are many water scenes in the play with a lake taking center stage except for the closest and harthercaway parts of the humongous outdoor viewing area. Seeing how much action takes place in the water it becomes easier to understand why significant rain was no impediment to the artists performance. The music was engaging and singing very nice. Singing must be prerecorded under those conditions. I’m not faulting anything, just an observation, which insures top quality sound under difficult outdoor theater conditions.

first we had wander round busy morning food market in Hoi An with our guide Quan. then got a boat to the coconut grove area where we transferred direct into a bamboo round boat for a trip around the coconut trees. it was very peaceful and we didn’t seem to be amongst lots of tourists. the cooking class was great. four courses so make sure you don’t eat big hotel breakfast beforehand like we did! A taxi was organised for our return to our hotel. great value for money.
