Bangkok Day trips

Our tour guides, Bamboo and Aim, were very friendly and provided useful travel information for Wuchiu, such as the 1155 tourist dispute hotline, which has tourism police who speak both Chinese and English and are available 24/7 to handle disputes and assist with reporting incidents. The journey was quite smooth, so motion sickness was unlikely. There were also charging ports on the tour bus (though I'm not sure if every bus has them). Our 9:30 AM tour returned to the meeting point around 5:00 PM, and luckily, we didn't encounter any traffic. We arrived at the Maeklong Railway Market around 10:50 AM in late August, just in time to see the train arrive at 11:10 AM and depart at 11:30 AM. Items sold on both sides of the tracks were a bit pricey; you can find cheaper vendors if you walk towards the main road. At the Floating Market, we were assigned to a boat with six people. The boat constantly stopped at stalls where vendors tried to sell us things, but the prices were high. Unless you specifically want the experience, I don't recommend buying anything. Our guide thoughtfully warned us about this before we even got off the bus and also shared reasonable bargaining ranges for different areas. After disembarking at the Floating Market, there was time for lunch. The last stop, the Buffalo Restaurant, only offered coffee, desserts, and ice cream, not full meals. We spent about an hour at each of the two main locations and half an hour at the Buffalo Restaurant. Overall, I felt it was a very worthwhile trip and highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful tour in Korea! We are a family of four, and Linda made our experience smooth, comfortable, and memorable. Her Mandarin is excellent, and she shared so much insight about Korea, helping us understand and appreciate the culture much better. Her service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and well-organized throughout the trip. Highly recommended!

This was a very special trip. The tour guide provided explanations in both Chinese and English and was very dedicated. Because the new highway was open, we arrived at Maeklong Railway Market 30 minutes early. If we had arrived early, we should have had more time for a meal, so we didn't have extra time to eat. We saw the train at 11:00 AM and had to board at 11:20 AM. We arrived at the floating market around noon. The original plan was to leave at 3:00 PM, but the guide said we had to leave at 2:00 PM so everyone could use the restroom. We returned to the starting point around 4:00 PM, an hour earlier than expected. We could only wander around the area. As soon as we got on the bus, the guide informed us that tips were not included, so it was up to us whether to tip or not 😂😂😂. This tour was very unique, and it would have been more interesting with a bit more time to explore, but it felt like the guide was very rushed.

OUR TOUR GUIDE MR. THANI IS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND VERY KIND. HE WAS ALSO BEEN LIKE OUR FRIEND FOR JUST A DAY. HE MADE SURE WE KNOW EVERY DETAILS WE SEE AND MADE SURE WE ARE ALWAYS ON THE TRACK! I AM AMAZED HE KNOWS HOW TO SPEAK IN MULTIPLE LANGUAGES HE IS VERY SMART! HE ALSO HELPED US TO TAKE PUR PHOTOS! ALL IN ALL THE EXPERINXE IS VERY GOOD ALL THOUGH IT IS VERY TIRING AND WE GOT OUR SKIN BURNED DUE TO MASSIVE HEAT OF BANGKOK SUN IT IS OKAY WE ENJOYED EVERYTHING

We really enjoyed our adventure at Safari World Bangkok! 🦒🐯🐬 We got to see so many different animals that we had never seen before, and it was such a fun and memorable experience. One thing we really loved was seeing how much the staff genuinely cared for the animals. You could really feel the connection and love they had for them, and it was absolutely adorable to watch. ❤️ We also had a wonderful guide, Chopin! She always made sure everyone was okay and comfortable throughout the trip. I especially loved her calm and funny energy. She wasn’t overly energetic, but she was very warm, friendly, and approachable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for such a wonderful adventure! We had a great time and would definitely recommend this experience. 🥰🦁🌿

We booked our Damnoen Saduak and Maeklong Railway trip through Klook as we wanted to make our Thailand trip a memorable one. We had a great day, and the tour operator (TTD Global) was fantastic. The bus was very comfortable, and our tour guide for the day was well-organized, friendly, and great fun. Our guide, P’ Nok, was also very informative and helpful along the way. She made sure we all knew where to meet and at what time. It all went like clockwork. The tour was at a great pace, and there was no rushing. She is an excellent guide! I also love the fact that she’s able to speak Mandarin/Chinese fluently. We enjoyed the day immensely. It was better than my expectations. The train and boat rides were highlights, especially at Damnoen Saduak, where we had a beautiful view of the river channels and could enjoy an amazing coconut ice cream that is free! The experience was really worthy—just do it! You will love it! The driver did a great job too. I would highly recommend!

First of all the coach bus was big and comfortable and only half filled. we were given a bottle of water and a cookies. We have 2 guides for English and Mandarin groups. both were very experienced and helpful. We visited many temples and each were unique. overall will recommend this tour.

I was guided by an experienced Thai-Chinese person who speaks Japanese. Besides learning about the historical background, it was great to have someone take photos for me, as my solo travel pictures tend to be mostly landscapes. Although it's the rainy season, it only drizzled occasionally, and there was no direct sunlight, making it comfortable. They even lent me an umbrella. On Sunday, the roads were clear, so we returned early. Lunch was a bit pricey, with tourist-level prices, but I didn't mind and enjoyed two beers with stir-fried morning glory in oyster sauce. Overall, it was a comfortable and good tour.

Our family purchased a join-in tour package, and after placing the order, we contacted the travel agency to add on the jeep ride and giraffe photo experience. The website provided clear information, so we understood the booking process, and the meeting point on the day of the tour was easy to find as per the website's instructions. The itinerary included the Bridge on the River Kwai, a ride on the Death Railway, and the safari park, all of which were excellent. It would have been even better if we could have spent more time at the safari park. In addition to the jeep ride and giraffe photo opportunity, the original ticket included a bus ride to feed deer, giraffes, and other animals. There was also an option to pay extra for a photo with a crocodile. Both adults and children had a wonderful time!
