We were the fortunate and unfortunate trio as the other couple cancelled it last minute and it became a "private tour." However, the current was too strong to take a ferry to get around the first mountains. So... we ended up climbing 2 slippery and steep mountains, with a 6-yr old boy!! Nevertheless, it was totally worth it. You have to personally see it to feel it. The tour guide, Paul, was really attentive, nice, well-prepared (mosquito repellent, wet tissues, ornaments for mosquito bites, etc.) and knowledgeable. The driver navigated safely and keeps the car clean and cool (very important in hot weather). lunch is delicious. We ordered Thai tea (extra, paid ourselves) and it was neatly prepared. The boat ride was serene after half day of streneous mountain climbing. Paul helped us to arrange a massage at the end and dropped us each at our hotel and at the massage place. he made sure that the message is all set before he said goodbye. Highly recommend!
Great experience. Enjoyed boat ride to national marine park. The walk up to cave requires sensible walking shoes as we were told. Takes a good half hour depending on how many stops you need.
The canal boat ride was very peaceful and relaxing. The included lunch was delicious. Our guide Nat was friendly and obliging and spoke good English.
First of all, our guide Paul was really helpful. He took care of our 5-year old son when climbing up to the cave. He consistently checked whether we were doing okay during the entire tour.
The hike to the cave was really worth it. Great exprience overall. The rocks along the way are quite slippery but definitely doable. We took our 3-year and 5-year old together and they made it.
it was a wonderful experience. The tour covered a visit to the seven king monument park, a view of a fishing village, the Khao Sam roi yot national park via boat ride, a good thaifood lunch, and a beautiful boating ride along a river. it also includes pick up and drop from hua hin. Very worth of the price!
The two of us joined a group of seven, a good number for the tour. We had a knowledgeable tour guide Num who patiently explained the different sights at different locations. He also watched out for us as we attempted the two tedious mountains. But I guess magnificent view of the cave and the temple made it all worthwhile. Good lunch served too!
Special shoutout of thanks to Num!
