One of Krabi’s most iconic natural landmarks, the Khao Khanab Nam Mountains can accessed by longtail boat from the Chao Fah Pier. Simply negotiate with a boat captain for a two-hour boat charter out to the area - be sure to include a short trip to the surrounding Mangroves and a stopover at the nearby Ko Klang fishing village that’s only accessible by boat.

The mountains are about 15 minutes away from the pier, and contain several cave sites filled with rock formations. These stalagmites and stalactites are a reflection of the Khao Khanab Nam Caves’ long history, and are a beauty to see up close. After exploring the caves, head to Ko Klang. This little fishing village just off the coast of Krabi feels completely different from the mainland, with many of the locals ferrying over to Krabi for work.

The easiest way to get to Phra Nang Cave Beach is to take a longtail boat from Ao Nang, which is only a 10-15 minute trip away. Surrounded by stunning limestone cliffs and crystal clear waters, this little beach enclave is a lot quieter in the late afternoon - making it the perfect spot for relaxing on the sands.

If you’re up for some adventure, head to the southern end of the beach, where you’ll find the famous Princess Cave. Snap some photos at the mouth of the cave before heading on a hike deeper into the cliffside, where you’ll find the hidden lagoon of Sha Phra Nang - or Holy Princess Pool. Take your time to admire the beautiful scenery of Phra Nang Cave Beach, before heading back to Ao Nang.

Your homebase in Krabi will be Ao Nang - arguably the island’s most famous resort town.

With a wide variety of local and international dining options, hotels for every budget, as well as plenty of shops and nightlife, there’s plenty to explore in Ao Nang itself.

Conveniently located amidst the cluster of hotels and resorts close by the beach, the Ao Nang Night Market has a variety of stalls selling all kinds of local street food for you to feast on. It might not be the biggest market, but you’ll find a good selection of dishes in a lively atmosphere.. There’s even an area set aside for souvenir stands, so you can do a bit of post-dinner shopping before heading back to your hotel.

Delve deep into Krabi’s jungle on a day tour to some of its unique hidden wonders. After a morning pick up from your hotel, you’ll take a scenic drive into the Krabi Rainforest before reaching the Hot Spring Waterfalls. Averaging between 35° – 40° Celsius, the water in the hot spring is full of natural mineral salts that’s been said are beneficial to health. Take a dip in the soothing waters and let your muscles relax, before you head on to the next stop: a short nature walk around the beautiful forest.

After that, you’ll set off for the ethereal Sra Morakot (Emerald Pool). Like its name suggests, the waters of this tranquil freshwater pool inside the Khao Phra Bang Khram Nature Reserve have an emerald hue. This is a result of the minerals in the surrounding limestone hills, which trickle into the pool when the rains fall. Here, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch by the beautiful waters.

The final stop will be the Wat Tahm Suea (Tiger Cave Temple), aptly named for the rock formation nearby that resembles a tiger's claw. The temple is a meditation centre and its tranquility is guarded by the spectacular Ao Luk Thanu mountain range. Take your time to explore the temple and its picturesque surroundings, before heading back to Ao Nang.

After a long day out and about exploring the Krabi jungle, unwind with a relaxing massage at the Let’s Relax Spa!

The masseurs are extremely skilled at releasing all the tension in your muscles. After the treatment ends, you’ll even get a free plate of Mango Sticky Rice!

Do note that you will need to make an appointment before heading over - so be sure to give them a call, or just walk in to reserve your desired appointment slot.
