About the event
HAMILTON tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, a Founding Father who rose from humble beginnings in the West Indies to become George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and the nation’s first Treasury Secretary.
Blending hip-hop, jazz, blues, R&B, rap, and Broadway, this groundbreaking musical reimagines America’s past through the lens of today.
Created by Lin-Manuel Miranda and inspired by Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography, HAMILTON, the show has become a cultural phenomenon, winning 11 Tony Awards including Best Musical, the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.
