About the event
At the Bliss family's country home, a theatrical clan of actors and artists each secretly invites a weekend guest, unaware their parents have done the same. Flirtation, melodrama, and charades follow, as the Blisses draw bewildered visitors into elaborate romantic games, mistaking genuine feeling for performance at every turn.
Noel Coward's razor-sharp drawing-room comedy skewers the vanity of a bohemian family who treat life itself as theatre. This 2026 West End revival at Wyndham's Theatre, directed by Emily Burns, stars Christine Baranski, in her West End debut, as imperious actress Judith Bliss, alongside Richard E. Grant as husband David. Sharp, silly, and stylish, it's a night of classic English wit suited to adult and teen audiences.
