About the event
This summer, the Hong Kong Children's Choir (HKCC) will embark on a 14-day concert tour to Australia and New Zealand, led by Music Director and Principal Conductor Kathy Fok and 2019 Choral Conducting Competition Champion Apollo Wong.
For the first time, The Hong Kong Children’s Choir is performing in Auckland! With the support of The Music Association of Auckland, we are thrilled to present the "Dreams to Dream" concert at the iconic Holy Trinity Cathedral in Parnell.
The Choir will perform the beloved traditional Māori folk song, “Pokarekare Ana”, along with “The Gift of Dreams to Dream”, a piece that embodies the concert’s theme. Through music, HKCC hopes to connect with the audience and share their dreams in a truly inspiring and heartfelt experience.

About the organizer
The Hong Kong Children’s Choir (HKCC), founded in 1969, is the first and largest children’s choir in Hong Kong with around 5,000 members. Registered as a non-profit-making charitable organization, HKCC has grown into a diversified arts organization. Under the supervision of Music Director and Principal Conductor Kathy Fok, along with over 100 professional tutors, choir members develop their artistic talents and learn the importance of team spirit through engaging rehearsals.
