PhilClarinets in Concert – Through the Years

In this fifth edition of PhilClarinets’ concert “Through the Years”, we will showcase four generations of talented clarinettists who have played with the Philharmonic Wind Orchestra over the past 24 years! Experience the rich history and evolution of our ensemble through captivating performances of familiar tunes, including Verdi's La Forza del Destino, Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Glinka's Russlan and Ludmilla Overture, and many more.

Comprising members from the clarinet section of the Philharmonic Wind Orchestra (PWO), PhilClarinets is the largest section of PWO with over 60 skilled volunteer musicians. Since its debut recital in August 2010, PhilClarinets has continued to impress audiences with a selection of music showcasing the clarinet's rich, colourful, and flexible sonorities. As a close-knit family, PhilClarinets strives to continue presenting quality clarinet ensemble repertoire to a wider audience.
