About the event
The Water Sports Centre and Stadium Riverside Walk will be transformed into a lively carnival over the first weekend of the June school holidays. Cheer for your favourite team at the National Inter-Schools Dragon Boat Championships happening on 24 May!
On 25-26 May, pick up the paddles for the kayak and dragon boat trials at only $10 per pax, and enjoy snacks and games on the house (yes it’s free, first come first served!). See you at the riverside!
DRAGON BOAT & KAYAK TRY-OUTS
Grab a paddle for the Kayak and Dragon Boat try-outs for just $10 per person! This fun experience is perfect for kids, families, and water sports enthusiasts, offering an introduction to basic paddling skills as you navigate through the picture-perfect Kallang Basin. Slots are limited, so make your reservations now!
Registration closes on date of event or when all slots are filled up.
Time slots for the try-outs :

- 3PM to 4PM
- 4PM to 5PM
- 26 May 2024, Sunday
- 9AM to 10AM
- 10AM to 11AM
- 11AM to 12PM
- 3PM to 4PM
- 4PM to 5PM
Note:
- Age requirements: Participants must be 9 years old and above (as of date of programme) and must be able to fit into a Personal Floatation Device (PFD).
- Attire: Sports attire with footwear (T-shirts, shorts and slippers are recommended).
- Things to bring: Water bottle, sunblock and an extra set of clothes to change.
