About the event
Calling all organists! We're excited to bring you a masterclass (in collaboration with VCHpresents) by Richard Brasier, a concert organist who has performed widely in recitals and major music festivals around the world. An expert in the music of César Franck, he recently edited a four-volume edition of Franck’s works published by Lyrebird Music. Richard is also the organist of St. Mary with St. George's German Lutheran Church in London, UK.
The masterclass programme (subject to change) will include the music of César Franck and Maurice Duruflé:
- FRANCK: Prélude, Fugue et Variation, Op.18
- DURUFLÉ: Prélude sur l'Introït de l'Épiphanie, Op. 13
Date and time: Sunday 24 March 2024, 3pm
