The acclaimed Boomabliss Cantonese Opera Troupe from Hong Kong returns to Singapore for the first time in 30 years to present a spectacular theatrical feast for the senses. In this visit, the duo of Cantonese Opera heavyweight Law Ka-ying and veteran Hong Kong actress Liza Wang headline two iconic Cantonese Opera presentations The Sassy Princess and Woman Warrior: Mu Gui Ying.

The Sassy Princess is a charming love story between the sassy Princess Feng Xia and the heroic war commander Fei Xiong, while Woman Warrior: Mu Gui Ying is a tale of the Northern Song dynasty heroine Mu Gui Ying getting into a bitter clash with her warrior husband Yang Zongbao. These Cantonese Opera presentations are a multisensory feast that promises a thrilling evening at the theatre, featuring a heady combination of singing, speaking, acting and acrobatic fighting. Striking opera sets are vividly brought to life together with elaborate costumes and exquisite make-up.
