Inmo Yang and Festival Strings Lucerne | Concert Information

Join the Festival Strings Lucerne, led by Daniel Dodds, featuring Korean violinist Inmo Yang in their debut performance in Singapore.
Established in 1956 by Wolfgang Schneiderhan and Rudolf Baumgartner, the Festival Strings Lucerne have been hailed as “one of the most brilliant chamber orchestras that currently exist in the world” by Spanish newspaper El Mundo. Since 2012, the Australian-born Swiss violinist Daniel Dodds has served as Artistic Director. Together, they will be performing Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony, Prokofiev's Symphony No.1 ‘Classical’ by and Richard Dubugnon's Caprice No. 4 for Orchestra.
Inmo Yang, double champion at the 2022 Jean Sibelius Violin Competition and the 2015 Paganini Violin Competition, will take the stage to perform Henri Vieuxtemps’ Violin Concerto No. 5. He has toured and performed with international orchestras in Europe and Asia and collaborated with conductors Myung-whun Chung, Marin Alsop and Fabio Luisi. Recognised by the critics as a musical virtuoso, Inmo has released albums under Deutsche Grammophon, with his latest one in 2022.
